Grabbing something means to take it or move it closer to you. Nici is an image grabber, use it to move images from web pages to your hard drive.
The advantage of an image grabber is that it can be specialized for browsing images, including features such as:

* Sharp image display and automatic resizing to your screen size.
* Navigation through grabbed images using keyboard arrows or your mouse.
* Ability to create slideshows.
* Ability to view the image (or watch a slideshow) in full screen mode.
* Advanced effects such as picture morphing.
* Picture rating ... give images a rating out of 10, and later look through your high ranked images
